From 1990 to 1997, Susan expanded her expertise as a Commercial Property Manager for a leading management company, serving the Portland and Bangor areas.

In 1998, Susan transitioned to luxury real estate sales in Naples, Florida, where she thrived in a competitive market until 2000. Upon returning to Maine, Susan became a successful small business owner, operating Coastal Jewelers year-round for 25 years. Throughout her business journey, she made a significant impact on her community through charitable contributions, supporting school sports, local little leagues, civic organizations, and various nonprofits.
